October, my dear friends, is here at last and I couldn’t be more excited about it! If you’ve read my blog before, you know that I participate in NaNoWriMo every November and this year will be my third. Well, along with writing like mad in November, I raise funds and promote for their parent organisation, The Office of Letters and Light, throughout the month of October. Between visiting local schools to talk to them about the Young Writers Program, spamming Facebook and my blog with pleas for help, and hitting up local companies for donations, October is almost as busy for me as November is!
This is the first official plea for help from you, my loyal readers. You can go to my sponsorship page to sponsor me and my writing and rest assured that 100% of the donations made through this page get straight to the parent organisation as quickly as possible so that they can continue to do amazing things all around the world.
Oh, did I mention that the donation is also tax-deductible? One more reason to be awesome and help me out a little! Every dollar counts, as I’m sure all of you know! Thank you in advance and I promise I’ll try to only post about this one more time towards the end of the month!
